Remove fonts that you dont use In Control Panel, type Fonts in the search box at the top right. Under Fonts, click Preview, delete, or show and hide fonts. Select the font that you want to remove, and then click Delete. Delete the fonts that you dont want.
You can press and hold the Shift key to create multiple selections. Next click Edit = Content Aware Fill then wait a few seconds for Photoshop to erase the text. The results will be displayed in the right pane. This method will be suitable for applying to images with lots of text and many different colors.
To reset the fonts (if thats the only issue youre having), you can simply open up the Character panel (Window Character) and click the fly out menu (in the upper right corner), choosing Reset Character.
You can also use the Spot Healing Brush Tool, which looks like a band-aid icon. With this tool, you can paint over the text, and Photoshop will blend the surrounding pixels to erase the text. Another option is the Content-Aware Fill feature.
