To clear formatting in Excel using a keyboard shortcut, simply select the cells you want to remove formatting from, then press Ctrl + Shift + Z.
If you dont want a cell to be a linked data type anymore, just right-click the cell, and click Data Type Convert to Text. The data type is removed, theres no longer an online connection, and the value in the cell is converted to text.
With your application selected in the Designer Studio, select the Data icon in the Explorer panel. Click the menu icon to the right of the data types name and select Remove from application.
How to change the Data Types Refresh Pane Settings Right-click a data type Data Type Refresh Settings. In Data Types Refresh Settings, select one of the data types in the workbook to expand it. Select one of the options to apply it to that data type.
One way to remove data in Excel is to use the Clear button on the home ribbon. Choose Clear Contents to clear just the contents. Choose Clear All to clear both the contents and the formatting. A faster way to clear content is to use the delete key.
To delete a DataType in a data dictionary, use the removeDataType function. For an example that shows more of the workflow for related functions, see Create Architectural Data Object and Use It to Configure Architectural Data.
To remove the excess formatting in the current worksheet, do the following: On the Inquire tab, click Clean Excess Cell Formatting. Choose whether to clean only the active worksheet or all worksheets. After excess formatting has been cleared, click Yes to save changes to the sheets or No to cancel.
