In the browser version of Google Docs, select Tools from the top menu and then Preferences. Under the General tab, youll see a number of options. Uncheck Show Smart Compose suggestions. If you want, you can also uncheck Show Smart Reply suggestions, which will prevent Docs from suggesting replies below comments. Accept or reject suggestions On your computer, open a document at docs.google.com. Choose a comment. Click Accept ​ or Reject .
To reopen them (i.e. undo Resolve comment), simply type a reply in the text box. This will bring back the comment thread and will also send an email notification to the document owner and the person who made the original comment.

To reject a change, click the X, and the suggestion will disappear. To leave Suggestion Mode, click Suggesting in the top-right corner and select Editing. Click on the gear icon to access Settings. Uncheck both boxes to prevent editors from changing permissions or sharing and to prevent non-editors from downloading, printing, or copying the doc.
