my name is Dave Ford and in this video tutorial we will look at how we can change an image so that it has soft edges so here I have an example of an image and itamp;#39;s got quite harsh edges and what Iamp;#39;ve done is Iamp;#39;ve done two things of a turned it from being a rectangle into an oval and then Iamp;#39;ve made it so the edges are soft theyamp;#39;ve got a kind of a slight fuzz to them and again if youamp;#39;re putting these inside teaching and learning resources sometimes not having the hard edges just makes it easier on the eye with the other other elements of text around it so in order to do that Iamp;#39;m working in PowerPoint so even if I was going to be using the image in Word or Excel I would still create it in PowerPoint and then copy and paste it across so here I have an image and itamp;#39;s a rectangle what Iamp;#39;m going to do is click on the image and go picture format and then Iamp;#39;m going to choose one of these pre-built in formats now the
