How to reset form fields in a Word fillable form by adding an ActiveX command button that when a user clicks it, all of the form fields will be cleared out. Before adding the reset button, ensure that your document is saved as a macro-enabled file type. To do this: Navigate to the File menu.
Select the border of the text box that you want to delete, and then press DELETE. Make sure that the pointer is on the border of the text box and not inside the text box. If the pointer is not on the border, pressing DELETE will delete the text inside the text box.
Mark the cells, then Fn+Backspace. Only backspace deletes the entire table. Fn+Backspace clears content.

To delete a fill, select No Fill. Your text will not be visible unless you previously added an outline to the text. To delete a fill gradient, point to Gradient, and then select No Gradient.
If not already selected, click on the Home tab on your ribbon. In the Font section, there will be a Clear Formatting icon. It is a letter A with an eraser in front.
To screen back the picture so that text will be visible over it, click the image, and then from the Format menu, select Picture. Click the Picture tab in the window that appears, and then in the Image Control section, next to Color:, select Watermark or Washout. Click the OK button to apply the change.
