Paragraphs are separated by blank lines and by using the command \par. This form is very useful in user defined commands and environments as error messages show paragraph breaks as \par.
By default most LaTeX documents will indent the first line of the paragraph. The amount of space it indents it by can be controlled using the \parindent command, e.g. Notice that, somewhat unusually, the arguments to these commands dont go inside curly brackets.
Type \begin{tabbing} . This will initiate the tabbing environment in your LaTeX code.
You dont have to go through all this to select and delete a paragraph or two. When this is the case, position the cursor at the beginning of the paragraph and press Ctrl+Shift+Down. Paragraph indentation You can avoid indentation by setting \parindent to 0pt (or 0mm, 0cm etc) or using the command \noindent at the beginning of the paragraph.
The Plain TeX (and LaTeX) commands \indent and \noindent are defined in ConTeXt, but are not hooked into the indentation mechanism. Now, if we want to indent after an itemize, starting the next paragraph with \indent does not work; to get indentation we have to say \indentation.
