Group Header This section typically holds the group name field, and can be used to display charts or cross-tabs that include data specific to the group. It is printed once at the beginning of a group.
Right-click on the Group Header you wish to delete and click on Delete Group. If you do not necessarily want to see the transaction details for a Group, you can Hide or Suppress them.
Open the report in the Crystal application. Delete any fields on the report or in formulas that are contained in the table(s) to be deleted. Click on Database Remove from Report from the menu. Select the desired table to remove from the Databases list. Click the Remove button.
Delete Parameter Field If we want to delete the parameter field, go to Field Explorer - Right click on Parameter Name - Delete.
Drag the bottom of the section up or right-click on the section and select Fit to Section. If there are no fields in the section, right-click and select Suppress (No Drill-Down) Right-click on the section and select Section Expert. Mark the Suppress Blank Section checkbox.
The Group Tree Panel can be hidden by setting the ToolPanelView property of the Crystal Report Viewer control to None. In older version of Crystal Reports it can also be done from code behind using the DisplayGroupTree property of the Crystal Report Viewer control as shown below.
How to change group in a Crystal report Right-click on the Group Header section. Select Change Group. Select the new field from the first drop down list. Click OK. Refresh the report.
In the Preview tab, click on the text object or field you wish to delete - a blue border will appear around it/the field will be highlighted and the mouse pointer will change. Note: You may select multiple text objects and/or fields to move together by holding down the Ctrl button and then clicking on them.
