okay today is a great example of what Iamp;#39;ve been trying to talk about to do with this interference that wipes out HF in numerous locations and that itamp;#39;s not just some terrible randomized noise like from Solo or whatever now have a look at this Iamp;#39;m looking across a fair whack of spectrum here notice this diagonal lines transiting through the frequencies as well as rapid pulses that are spread Spectrum across the uh the frequencies Iamp;#39;m trying to monitor a qrp transmission right now not got much hope though look at the S meter nearly zero but itamp;#39;s clearly not no signal out there now Iamp;#39;ll just um try to uh you know look further down the Spectrum so um whatamp;#39;s down here oh yeah and broadcast band notice itamp;#39;s been spared get up to the noisy section just above the amateur uh start you know just above uh start of um 160 meters see if you listen to the sound youamp;#39;ll hear the difference so theyamp;#39;re down at one megahertz
