here is a quick guide on how to reset your bios to default so power on your pc and while it is booting spam delete key to enter bios if delete key doesnamp;#39;t work then try f1 f2 or f8 if none of these keys work then look for more info in your motherboardamp;#39;s manual now as soon as you enter bios press f1 to see the available options press f6 to load optimize default save settings and exit bios this will basically set your bios to default different motherboard manufacturer have different kinds of interfaces so again if this doesnamp;#39;t work for you you should check your motherboardamp;#39;s manual for more info or you could also do this open your pc kit and remove the cmos battery let your motherboard sit without cmos battery for 5 minutes then return it back before powering your pc back on this will also reset your bios to default and it is a good fix if you see your display does not show anything after overclocking for more basic pc tricks and tips make

Is snapshot used by AMI?

When you create an AMI of an existing EC2 instance, a snapshot is taken for all the volumes that are attached to the instance. The snapshot includes the device mappings. You cant use snapshots to launch a new instance, but you can use them to replace volumes on an existing instance.

Does deleting AMI Delete snapshots?

You cant delete a snapshot of the root device of an EBS volume used by a registered AMI. This consideration applies even if the registered AMI is deprecated or disabled. You must first deregister the AMI before you can delete the snapshot. For more information, see Deregister your AMI.

What is the difference between snapshot and AMI images?

A snapshot is used to back up the disk in case of any failure or inconsistency. AMI is used to back up the entire EC2 instance, including all the resources to recreate the server in the event of its failure. Snapshots are used to restore volumes or create existing ones.

What is Delete on termination on AMI?

Let us run through the process of creating an image (AMI -- Amazon Machine Image) via the AWS Console: The Delete on Termination flag controls the deletion of the EBS volume during termination of Spot Instances: If the flag is marked, the EBS volume is deleted and if it is unmarked, the EBS volume is not deleted.

What happens if AMI is deleted?

When you delete or deregister an Amazon EBS-backed AMI, any snapshots created for the volume of the instance during the AMI creation process are retained. If you accidentally delete the AMI, then you can launch an identical AMI using one of the retained snapshots.

What happens when we deregister AMI?

When you deregister the AMI, it is simply deleted. However, all the snapshots that were attached to the AMI remain and need to be deleted manually. The diagram below illustrates this concept. If you do not manually delete snapshots after deregistering an AMI, they will continue to incur costs.

Is it safe to delete snapshots vmware?

deleting a snapshot should not affect the VM. but if you overprovisioned your storage and exceeded its capacity, that is a problem on its own, irrespective of removing a snapshot.

Does deregister AMI delete snapshot?

Note: Deregistering an EBS-backed AMI doesnt affect any snapshots created for the instances volumes when the AMI was created.
