Rich Text Format (RTF) is a file Format that lets you exchange text files between different word processors in different operating systems (OSes). For example, you can create a file in Microsoft Word and then open it in another word processor, such as Apple Pages or Google Docs.
On Windows, save a document as an RTF file by navigating to File Save as and then select RTF. Once youve opened your RTF file on Microsoft Word, select the text you would like to edit. Start typing in this space to replace the current text with the new text.
Save as RTF Open or create your document in Word, PowerPoint or Publisher. Click File, and then click Save As. Click the Save as Type drop-down menu and select Rich Text Format (*.
