How do I update my personal details? Open your Zip app. Tap the Profile icon in the top right of the Home tab. Tap on Personal details Tap on the pencil to the right of your current details. You will then be asked to enter your new details and will need to complete an SMS verification step.
Head to merchant.zip.co and click Forgot Your Password Enter the email address you use to log in to receive a reset password link (if you do not receive this within 10 minutes, please ensure you check your spam or junk folders) Follow the prompts in the email to set a new password and login.
What information does Zip ask for? Zip requires your legal name, address, date of birth, a U.S. mobile number, and either a U.S. debit or credit card to sign up. Rather than having a traditional username and password, Zip requires a mobile phone number and text message verification to log in.
Select your account tile (Zip Pay/Zip Money) In the top right corner click Manage Select the change payment method icon. Once you have added a new card to your account you will be able to remove any old cards by selecting the icon to the right, next to your old card.
The mobile number can be updated via your Zip app by clicking here for Zip Pay or here for Zip Money. Alternatively, you may be able to update your mobile number when logging in via a web browser, through your smartphone or a compatible device. You will be required to enter the 6 digit SMS code sent to your new phone.
If youve forgotten your password or need to reset it, simply select Forgot password? on the sign-in page. A password reset link will be sent to the email address on file, simply enter your new password and re-enter to confirm. Havent received the password reset link?
You can update the phone number associated with your Zip account using the Zip Customer Portal.
Note Sign in to your Zipcar account. Click into your account and navigate to Personal Info or Account Settings. Select Phone. Input the new phone number. Confirm your verification method and select Update. Input the verification code sent via SMS to the phone number on file.
