Step 1: Select the cell containing the comment or note you want to remove. Step 2: Right-click on the cell and choose Delete Comment (for comments) or Delete Note (for notes). The comment or note will be instantly removed from the cell.
Delete a sticky note From the list of notes, right click or tap and hold a note, and then click or tap Delete note. From the list of notes list, click or tap the ellipsis icon ( ) to the right of a note, and then click or tap Delete note.
Next,, you will click CTRL + Minus Key (-) on your keyboard: This will instantly delete whatever row you have selected. As you can see in the screenshot below, IN003 is now deleted from the sheet entirely.
Deleting cell notes When the relevant cell is selected, just click the delete button (trash can) on the Cell Notes toolbar.
To insert a comment using a keyboard shortcut, select the appropriate cell and press Shift-F2. An easy way to remember this keyboard shortcut; the F2 key edits the cells content, whereas Shift-F2 edits the cells comment.
The TRIM function is used to eliminate excess spaces and tab spaces in the Excel worksheet cells. The excessive blank spaces and tab spaces make the data hard to understand. Using the TRIM function can eliminate these excessive blank spaces. Select the data cells with excessive blank spaces and tab spaces.
Shift + F10 to open right-click menu. Arrow keys to Delete comment.
