hi Iamp;#39;m Ted today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to delete duplicate text entries in a range of cells in Excel this is something thatamp;#39;s useful to know how to do when you have a very large list and it would be very tedious to go through and do this kind of thing manually so what I have is a very simple list itamp;#39;s a list of of cities and I want to uh eliminate all the duplicates um letamp;#39;s say we want to to maintain the original order so the first thing weamp;#39;re going to do is weamp;#39;re going to insert and I often do this in Excel just for a variety of reasons weamp;#39;re going to insert a column here and weamp;#39;re going to just add the co the number so that we can go back when weamp;#39;re done and and um and get back to our original order because the original order might be important so I could have done this beforehand but uh there we go so the the key to doing this the first step is to sort the list by the entry that you want to eliminat
