Remove a Text Node xml is loaded into xmlDoc. Set the variable x to be the first title element node. Set the variable y to be the text node to remove. Remove the element node by using the removeChild() method from the parent node.
Right-click the XML Schema file (file extension . xsd) that you want to delete, then click Delete. Alternatively, select the XML Schema file that you want to delete, then, from the menu bar, click Edit Delete, or press the Delete key. In the Confirm Resource Delete window, click Yes to delete the XML schema file.
To turn it on or off for the Text editing mode,open the Preferences dialog box (Options Preferences), go to Editor Format XML, and select/deselect the Schema-aware format and indent option.
You can do that with the find and replace tool: Open search and replace with Ctrl + H. Set search mode to regular expression. Enter ()* in find what field. Leave replace with field empty. Click replace all.
In the XML Files explorer, right-click the XML file or XML element that you want to remove and click Delete.
Delete an XML map from a workbook If the Developer tab is not available, do the following to display it: On the Developer tab, in the XML group, click Source. In the XML Source task pane, click XML Maps. Select the XML map that you want to delete. Click Delete, and then click OK.
To delete entire XML documents, use the DELETE SQL statement. Use the XMLEXISTS predicate to identify particular documents to delete. Two records are returned.
