In the XML Files explorer, right-click the XML file or XML element that you want to remove and click Delete.

The primary XML index is a shredded and persisted representation of the XML BLOBs in the xml data type column. For each XML binary large object (BLOB) in the column, the index creates several rows of data. The number of rows in the index is approximately equal to the number of nodes in the XML binary large object.
To delete rows that contain XML documents, use the DELETE SQL statement. Include a WHERE clause when you want to delete specific rows. You can specify which rows are to be deleted based on values within XML columns.
Right-click the XML Schema file (file extension . xsd) that you want to delete, then click Delete. Alternatively, select the XML Schema file that you want to delete, then, from the menu bar, click Edit Delete, or press the Delete key. In the Confirm Resource Delete window, click Yes to delete the XML schema file.
Remove a Text Node xml is loaded into xmlDoc. Set the variable x to be the first title element node. Set the variable y to be the text node to remove. Remove the element node by using the removeChild() method from the parent node.
