[Music] hi everyone in this episode of how do you do that Im going to show you how to use an image reference when you dont actually have that image stored in the gallery section of resolve so for example Im work been working on this particular shot here and I do my correction and then I say oh I want to reference it to this image that I have any shot number 7 so normally I would have it stored in my gallery I would call up my gallery image and then I could do a wipe to it using the timeline here I can do a full resolution image wipe to any of the clips that you see here so all I have to do is just right mouse click over clip number 7 and then we come over to the option that says wipe timeline clip so if I select wipe timeline clip now I can do a wipe to that image and I can do it over and under and all the functions that I would normally when I was wiping to a gallery image that I have here for more tips and tricks like this have a look at the other videos on our YouTube channel an
