weamp;#39;re in Microsoft Excel 2013 Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to delete a header or footer and as you can see when we open up our Excel worksheet that uh we see a header at the top itamp;#39;s showing page numbers and we also show a Time clock at the bottom so in order to delete this we just have to do a couple things first start off by clicking on the insert tab click on header and footer and you can see now the header turns into a formula so weamp;#39;re going to start by deleting the formula just go ahead and hit the delete key and weamp;#39;ll do the same thing down in the footer now thereamp;#39;s one other thing we need to do and that is if you move your mouse over to the left youamp;#39;ll see that the curse cursor changes into this other icon go ahead and click on it once it looks uh like this new different little picture and then that takes that particular one away so now at the same time the footer goes away as well so now we can go back to view and we can choo

Go to Insert Header Footer. On the top right side of the document, select Options Remove Headers Footers.
To remove headers, footers, and watermarks via Document Inspector, access the Header Footer Tools Design tab to adjust the settings, uncheck different first page and other relevant options, remove watermarks through the Page Layout or Design tab, and ensure no header or footer will print on any page.
Inspect a Document Click the File tab. Click Check for Issues. Select Inspect Document. The Document Inspector dialog box opens. Select which hidden data you want to check for, then click Inspect. Click the Remove All button next to a categorys results to remove those elements. Click Close when youre done.
Select Layout Breaks Next Page. Double-click the header or footer on the first page of the new section. Click Link to Previous to turn it off and unlink the header or footer from the previous section.
In Document Inspector, select or clear the options (as described below) to remove or save. Select Inspect. Review the inspection results, and select Remove All on any items to delete.
Remove all headers and footers Go to Insert Header or Footer, and then select Remove Header or Remove Footer. If your document has more than one section, repeat this process for each section.
Re: Delete old Headers/Footers in Excel Go to File Info Check for Issues Inspect Document. From the Document Inspector dialog box, deselect all checkboxes except Headers and Footers checkbox. If the Document Inspector found some headers or footers in the workbook, you will see a button to remove them all.
Change or delete a header or footer on a single page Double-click the first page header or footer area. Check Different First Page to see if its selected. If not: Select Different First Page. Add your new content into the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer or press ESC to exit.
