To suppress blank fields: Go to Insert Text Object to add a textbox into the report. Drag the Address fields into the textbox. Right-click on the text box and select Format Text. On the Common tab, mark the Suppress Embedded Field Blank Lines checkbox. Click OK.
How to conditionally suppress fields in Crystal Reports Right-click the field and select Format Field. Click X+2 next to Suppress. Enter the formula criteria to suppress (No IF-THEN statement is required) ex., {ADDRESSFIELD}Chicago
Drag the bottom of the section up or right-click on the section and select Fit to Section. If there are no fields in the section, right-click and select Suppress (No Drill-Down) Right-click on the section and select Section Expert. Mark the Suppress Blank Section checkbox.
To suppress a section based on a specific condition: Right-click on the section name on the left and select Section Expert (or go to Report Section Expert and select the section on the left) Click the X+2 button across from Suppress (No Drill-Down) Enter the condition for when the section should be suppressed.
Right Click Section Expert check the Suppress Blank Section checkbox for Page Header section click on OK. Page Header section gets suppressed successfully.
In the Preview tab, click on the text object or field you wish to delete - a blue border will appear around it/the field will be highlighted and the mouse pointer will change. Note: You may select multiple text objects and/or fields to move together by holding down the Ctrl button and then clicking on them.
