hi folks its mike murphy and todays quick tip is an docHub after effects cc 2022 in this tutorial im going to show you how to apply the linear wipe effect to make a nice simple transition animation in docHub after effects cc 2022 so i have a 1920 by 1080 pixel composition five seconds long and i have a navy blue background im going to use a logo in this example but this will work with text shape or many different layer types ill tap s for scale to resize and then go to the line panel just to make sure thats in the center of the comp select the layer that you want to add the linear wipe transition to then go up to the effects and presets panel click in the search bar and just start typing out linear its under the transition category youll see linear wipe im just going to click and drag it right onto that logo first im going to drag the playhead to the beginning of the timeline next im going to go up to transition completion its currently at zero percent so if i was to animate
