hows it going everyone so I want to have a little discussion about how do you build complex software how do you build out applications and I want to give you my thought process theres a lot of different ways that you can do this so for what I noticed in the industry theres like different mindsets of how you can potentially build out applications some people like to sit down in terms of like whether about the code the load up like uml diagrams if you know uml diagram is it looks like like as an example lets say youre trying to create a database and you want to set up some entities and some schemas some people sit down and theyll draw out this huge diagram of all these entities how they interconnect um which is which is cool but its a very waterfall type of approach to software engineering and from what Ive learned where I work in like the mindset that I have is I like to try this who work in an agile mindset so basically instead of sitting down and trying to design out the diagr

Organizational Patterns for Progress Reports Focus on time: shows time period (previous, current, and future) and tasks completed or scheduled to be completed in each period.
In your progress memo or report, you also need to include the following sections: (a) an introduction that reviews the purpose and scope of the project, (b) a detailed description of your project and its history, and (c) an overall appraisal of the project to date, which usually acts as the conclusion.
Project progress reports typically include: A summary of the work completed so far. New updates about the project. An expected project completion or phase completion date. Issues or concerns about the projects status. Updates to cost, resource or performance figures. Revised estimates. Explanations for unanticipated results.
A typical progress report is organized into five sections. The first section is the introduction, which summarizes the project, project goals, and duties of the team members. The body of the progress report is organized into three sections of work status: work completed, work in progress, and work to be started.
To write a project progress report, follow these steps: Identify project priorities. Before you begin writing, review the projects primary goals and explore how your progress aligns with them. Set milestones. Include important updates. Organize your content. Add comments. Review for clarity. Update goals. Improve reports.
Format of a Progress Report Memo: a short, semi-formal report to someone within your organization (can range in length from 1-4 pages) Letter: a short, semi-formal report sent to someone outside your organization. Formal report: a long, formal report sent to someone within or outside of your organization.
Progress reporting is an ongoing study into the development of a project, usually for the team members involved. It focuses on events and tactical details like progress drivers and anticipated roadblocks. The goal of a progress report is to assess where the project has been and where youll take it next.
