The ALL(Column) variant is useful when you want to remove the context filters for one or more specific columns and to keep all other context filters. ALLEXCEPT(Table, Column1 [,Column2]...) Removes all context filters in the table except filters that are applied to the specified columns.
In the Add Column ribbon, select Merge Columns with no special delimiter. Filter that newly Merged column for null, or select the "remove empty" filter. Remove Empty will remove blanks and nulls.
Delete a row, column, or cell from a table Right-click in a table cell, row, or column you want to delete. On the Mini toolbar, click Delete. Choose Delete Cells, Delete Columns, or Delete Rows.
The DAX ALLSELECTED function is used with the following syntax: ALLSELECTED([ | [, [, [,…]]]] )
You can not use DAX to delete rows, but you can exclude them as in the example below. If this post helps, then please consider Accepting it as the solution. Please feel free to connect with me. You can not use DAX to delete rows, but you can exclude them as in the example below.
To remove rows from the top go to the 'Home' tab, click on the 'Reduce Rows' drop-down menu. Click on 'Reduce Rows' again and you will get 6 options. Click on 'Remove Top Row' and enter the number of rows that you want to remove from the top and click on 'Ok'.
You can highlight only the range that contains the values you want to remove. Then use the shortcut Ctrl + - (minus on the main keyboard) to get the standard Excel Delete dialog box allowing you to select the Entire row radio button, or any other deleting option you may need.
Unpivot and Pivot The first method involves unpivoting and then pivoting the data. This works because when you unpivot, Power Query automatically removes any null values.
ALL() can only be used to clear filters but not to return a table. Removes all filters from the specified table. In effect, ALL(Table) returns all of the values in the table, removing any filters from the context that otherwise might have been applied.
It is different from the ALL function in that the ALL function ignores all filters regardless of where they come from, while the ALLSELECTED function ignores filters that come from the inner query.
