Doing a factory reset will delete nearly everything on the device, including: Personal data: This includes documents, photos, videos, music, and other types of personal files.
Important: A factory reset erases all your data from your phone. If youre resetting to fix an issue, we recommend first trying other solutions. Learn how to troubleshoot Android issues.
Since Wipe data/factory reset deletes all applications, app data, and information (documents, videos, images, music, etc) stored in the internal space, it is required for you to perform a data backup operation before you reset the Android device to factory settings.
Go to Settings System Recovery and click Reset PC. When asked what you want to erase, select Remove everything. Choose Local reinstall to reinstall Windows from this device, since it will run faster than the cloud download. If that doesnt work, select the Cloud download.
-wipe-data Delete user data and copy data from the initial data file. This option clears the data for the virtual device and returns it to the same state as when it was first defined. All installed apps and settings are removed.
In short, after Windows performs a factory reset, the files may still be recovered by some professional recovery software. But once you perform a data wipe, the files cannot be recovered.
Data wiping is the process of logically removing data from a read/write medium so that it can no longer be read.
No, if you have removed your account from the device and then factory reset, all your information should be safe. I assume you did not provide your Google account login credentials so the buyer wouldnt be able to gain access to that.
