Disable pass-through authentication via Powershell Go to Azure Portal or Entra admin center. Go to Microsoft Entra Connect Connect Sync Pass-through authentication.
Here are the steps: Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device. Check the menu for Accounts or Security. Locate the account connected to the Microsoft Authenticator you wish to disable. Click on that account and remove or disable the app.
Revoke app passwords you no longer use Open your devices Settings app and tap Google. Manage your Google Account. At the top, tap Security. Under How you sign in to Google, tap App passwords. You might need to sign in. Next to an app or device, tap Remove. .
Turn app lock on or off Under the heading Security it says App Lock. If the slider next to the text is blue, app locking is on. You can turn this off by pressing it. The slider now turns gray and app locking is turned off.
If you no longer want to use your authenticator app as a security info method, you can remove it from the Security info page. This works for all authenticator apps, not just the Microsoft Authenticator app. After you delete the app, you have to go into the authenticator app on your mobile device and delete the account.
Disable basic authentication In the Azure portal, search for and select App Services, and then select your app. In the apps left menu, select Configuration General settings. For SCM Basic Auth Publishing Credentials or FTP Basic Auth Publishing Credentials, select Off, then select Save.
The solution: resetting a users Salesforce Authenticator app after they have been locked out Go to the Salesforce Setup; Click Users in the Quick Find box; Click on the users name that you wish to reset; Click disconnect next to App Registration: Salesforce Authenticator;
Delete a 2FA account on Android Tap and hold the desired authenticator account, and then select Remove. A notification window will be displayed advising your account will be deleted in 48 hours. Tap OK to continue.
