Nineteen-year-old Taylor Smith was sentenced to two days in jail for pushing her friend, Jordan Holgersson, off a 60-foot high bridge in Washington State last August. Although Taylor pled guilty to reckless endangerment and prosecutors recommended no jail time as part of a plea deal, the judge opted for a harsher punishment. Jordan suffered severe injuries from the fall, including six broken ribs and punctured lungs. At the sentencing, Taylor expressed remorse before being taken away in handcuffs.
