all right well why dont I um go ahead with some introductions although this person may not need any introduction is one may be able to tell from the chatter thats been going on in the background but um but welcome to Grand rounds um here on January 24th for the Department of Medicine and we are so pleased to have one of our own back so um Im introducing this morning Dr Iris Wang who is an assistant professor in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology in the consultative GI group at Mayo Clinic shes from New York City but her claim to fame is her time here at Emory where she was a resident and then chief resident in our Residency program where she residency was in 2016 where she um uh saw oversaw the our Midtown Hospital um with the expert on partnership with Dr Malik unfortunately then we lost her to Rochester Minnesota where she completed her GI fellowship and is now as you heard on staff in addition to General gastroenterology her clinical focus is in disorders of gut br
