Hi Friends Welcome to the new series Angular Interview concepts with explanation. In this series, I am explaining some of the concepts those are most focussed on angular interviews. If you just prepare for your angular interview like a question and answer format, it wont help you a lot. If the same question is asked differently, you may struggle. Instead, if you understand the core concept behind that, you will not forget forever and you can easily answer. That is what I am trying to explain with some examples. Lets start. As part of Angular Hero to Superhero advanced concept series, I have explained how we can create and use Observable and Promise for handling asynchronous functionalities. And the last video in this interview concept series is about the difference between Observable and promise. If you have not seen those videos yet, please see those before this video. I have provided the links in the description. In this video, I am going to explain the differences between Observab

Subject - No initial value or replay behavior. AsyncSubject - Emits latest value to observers upon completion. BehaviorSubject - Requires an initial value and emits its current value (last emitted item) to new subscribers.
In basic terms, an RxJS subject is a unique observable that may multicast or communicate with many observers. ing to its definition, A subject is similar to an observable, except that it can multicast to several observers.
The main difference between an Observable and a Subject is that a plain Observable by default is unicast. It means that each subscribed Observer owns an independent execution of the Observable. On the other hand, Subjects are multicast. A Subject is like an Observable, but it can multicast to many Observers.
Because subjects are observers, they can be passed directly into a subscribe call, and all the events from the original observable will be sent through the subject to its subscribers. We can use the ReplaySubject to track history. A ReplaySubject records the last n events and plays them back to every new subscriber.
The Rxjs Subject and BehaviorSubject are unique observables that act as both observers and observables. They allow us to emit new values to the observable stream using the next method. All the subscribers, who subscribe to the subject will receive the same instance of the subject and hence the same values.
A BehaviorSubject holds one value (so we actually need to initialize a default value). When it is subscribed it emits that value immediately. A Subject on the other hand, does not hold a value.
But rxjs offers different types of Subjects, namely: BehaviorSubject, ReplaySubject and AsyncSubject.
Executing Observableslink There are three types of values an Observable Execution can deliver: Next notification: sends a value such as a Number, a String, an Object, etc. Error notification: sends a JavaScript Error or exception. Complete notification: does not send a value.
There are four types of Subjects available based on how they behave: Subject No initial value or replay available. BehaviouralSubject requires an initial value and emits current values to new subscribers. AsyncSubject Emits latest values to subscribers on completion of the async task.
