Approach: Read the image from the location. As a colored image has RGB layers in it and is more complex, convert it to its Grayscale form first. Set up a Threshold mark, pixels above the given mark will turn white, and below the mark will turn black.
(a) Performing Short Division by Two with Remainder (For integer part) Take decimal number as dividend. Divide this number by 2 (2 is base of binary so divisor here). Store the remainder in an array (it will be either 0 or 1 because of divisor 2). Repeat the above two steps until the number is greater than zero.
The BCD to Excess-3 system is formed by adding 0011 to each BCD value as in Table (1) while Excess-3 code to BCD system is formed by subtracting 0011 from each Excess-3 value as in Table (2). As it is clear by the name, a BCD digit can be converted to its corresponding Excess-3 code by simply adding 3 to it.
Excess-3 code can be derived from BCD code by adding 3 to each number. For example, Decimal number 12 is represented as 0001 0010 in BCD. If we add 3 that is to add 0011 0011 then the corresponding Excess-3 code is 0100 0101.
What is 3 in Binary? 3 in binary is 11. To find decimal to binary equivalent, divide 3 successively by 2 until the quotient becomes 0. The binary equivalent can be obtained by writing the remainder in each division step from the bottom to the top.
Convert the binary number into decimal. Add 3 in each digit of the decimal number. Find the binary code of each digit of the newly generated decimal number.3. Now, we find the binary code of each digit of the decimal number 63. StepsDecimal NumberConversionStep 16310(0110)2 (0011)2Step 26310(01100011)Excess-3
An Excess-3 equivalent of a given binary binary number is obtained using the following steps: Find the decimal equivalent of the given binary number. Add +3 to each digit of decimal number. Convert the newly obtained decimal number back to binary number to get required excess-3 equivalent.
To convert integer to binary, start with the integer in question and divide it by 2 keeping notice of the quotient and the remainder. Continue dividing the quotient by 2 until you get a quotient of zero. Then just write out the remainders in the reverse order.
