hey and welcome back to another Road video this videos gonna be a little different than what I normally do thats alright this video I want to cover what I think is one of the coolest voids that you can create in Revit its completely versatile its instance-based its its line base so its its very easy you can get to get it to do just about anything that you want it to and it applies primarily the walls is where Ive used this most of the time but you could probably use it in a number of different places like floors or whatever might be but Ill explain more of that as we get into it but right now Ive got just three walls shown here and were actually gonna get back to this later as well but first what Ill do is create the void family itself so well go to file we got a new family and Im gonna scroll down to generic model line based on all it open so immediately we can see our our line there by the reference planes so now well first do is I typically want to go to the left elev
