To begin, apply gel to the probe and position it in the patient's pelvic area, tilting it down to locate the bladder filled with urine. Once located, find the largest dimensions by rocking the probe. Freeze the image and use the caliper button to measure the bladder's width, moving the measurement lines to each edge and selecting the positions. Repeat this for the anterior-posterior dimension. Record the two measurements displayed in the lower corner. Finally, unfreeze the image by pressing the freeze button again and rotate the probe to the sagittal plane for further assessment.
