okay guys so today i wanted to talk about void forms so we already talked about what happens when you introduce a cut or a shape that kind of cuts into a object already so lets say that we do something like this where we build in kind of a half circle using the arc tool to create a cutout now thats all good and well if you plan for that void or that uh cut to be all the way through the piece now what do you do if you want this to only be cutting halfway down or just in the middle of a piece we have to do whats called a void form so well go ahead and get rid of this and put our model back together now whats interesting about this you have to be inside the custom modeling area to use void forms on a specific object so if i was to finish this model and then go back into the whole process of model in place generic models and then try to do a void form it doesnt know to associate with this cube it thinks youre building a whole another project so a whole other model so you have to cl
