charles de casa investments again so this is a follow-on for my last mail call video i knew it was going to run long so i saved this for later it was a wish order and as you can see it is 108 cards so yeah i did go on and i did buy some proxies um this is not meant for any kind of competitive deck im gonna check out these cards and later on off screen so were not taking up time on here im gonna get out a sharpie and im gonna write proxy on the back because in no way do i want to get these mixed up with any actual cards and nor do i want these cards to get into circulation at all um if they have different backs which looks like they might i dont know oh no they came in a box thats interesting um so if they do have different backs thats even better but they probably wont because it is a wish order um i like to do cubes design cubes and ive wanted to make a power 9 cube or a power cube so i picked up some stuff with the power 9 in it and blue core 108 pieces um i actually really

The most important distinction to make here is that proxy cards, no matter how realistic, are not legal in tournament magic. This means that in any official tournament, whether a Mythic Championship or just FNM at you local store, the cards are illegal to play with.
Proxies arent legal in MTG, and depending on how theyre made, they sometimes skirt the line of legal in general. Counterfeit cards and proxy cards arent technically the same. There is a distinction, but it can be a bit of a grey area.
A proxy card is an easily acquired or home-made substitute for a collectible card. A proxy is used when a collectible card game player does not own a card, and it would be impractical for such purposes to acquire the card.
A proxy card will almost always have a different rosette pattern than a genuine card. It can be one thats well done, but different nonetheless. When doing this test, its important to have a reference card from the same set to go back to, since genuine cards can have different patterns over the years.
Theres a pretty wide range for how to make a proxy. Some people just write the name and abilities on a piece of paper covering a reversed card in a sleeve, some write the name of a card on the back of a bulk card like basic lands, and many people just print out the card in question.
To set up a proxy server connection manually Select the Start button, then select Settings Network internet Proxy. Under Manual proxy setup, next to Use a proxy server, select Set up.
