I dont see the point of using a reservation system weve been doing just fine without one for years but a reservation system can help us manage our tables more efficiently and provide a better experience for our customers I dont want to spend money on something we dont need plus I dont want to deal with the hassle of setting it up and training our staff actually many reservation systems are easy to set up and use and the cost is often outweighed by the benefits of increased efficiency and customer satisfaction but what about no shows I dont want to hold tables for people who dont show up many reservation systems have features that can help reduce no shows such as confirmation emails and reminders and if someone does fail to show up we can always fill the table with walk-ins Im still not convinced what if the system goes down or theres a glitch we we could end up with a lot of unhappy customers thats a valid concern but many reservation systems have backup plans in place to pre
