so i have my pdf open here inside acrobat and i want to know are these areas white or are they transparent this is easy to identify but we first need to activate an option here on a mac up under the acrobat menu come down to preferences on a windows machine youll find these at the bottom of the edit menu jump into the page display tab and activate the option show transparency grid choosing okay we can now see wherever there is transparency we will see this checkerboard pattern and actually if i zoom in a little further youll see that areas that are white remain white but again transparency now shows up as this checkerboard pattern so i hope that helps with your identifying of transparent areas within your pds here inside of acrobat catch you later you
