To view the XML structure of a Microsoft Word DOCX document, we first of all create a copy of that document. Afterwards, we do a right-click on it, select Rename and then change the file extension from docx to zip. And by the way, if the file extensions are not visible on your computer, simply click on View Show and activate them there. In the next step, we again right-click on the document and now we have to extract it. For that, we either click on Extract All or if you have the software WinRAR, you can also use that to extract the files. In the extracted folder, open the word sub-folder and the document.xml will show you the xml structure of your word document.
