In Slide Master view, in the thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide layout(s) where you want to add a picture watermark. Right-click the slide and click Format Background. In the Format Background pane on the right, click Picture or Texture Fill, and under Insert picture from, click an option.
Add a watermark Select View Slide Master. Scroll to the top of the thumbnail pane and select the Slide Master at the top. Select Insert Text Box, then drag to draw a text box on the slide. Type the text you want in the text box. Choose a light font fill color and make any other changes to the font and style.
Double-click inside the page where you want to insert the custom watermark. Select Watermark in the Page Background group (see figure 2). Right-click your custom watermark in the drop-down menu, and then select Insert at Current Document Position from the shortcut menu.
In PowerPoint, you can put a text background in your slides to get that watermark effect. To add a watermark to all the slides, Select View Slide Master. Select Insert Text Box, and then click and drag to draw the text box on the slide master. Type the watermark text (such as DRAFT) in the text box.
Navigate to Slide Master Tab - if you are not already in Slide Master view, navigate to the Slide Master tab on the top ribbon. Select Lock Shapes from the top ribbon. The file will close briefly then re-open. Once re-opened the PowerPoint watermark will be locked to the Master Slides to prevent editing or removal.
Insert a watermark on just one page Select where you want the watermark to be on the page. Select Design Watermark right-click the watermark you want, and select Insert at Current Document Position. The watermark appears as a text box.
If it is on just one or two slides, it might be buried in a background layer. Click the HOME tab, click Select, and open the Selection Pane. Click the Show/Hide button for each object. If you find the watermark, you can leave it hidden, or press Delete.
Right-click the slide and click Format Background. In the Format Background pane on the right, click Picture or Texture Fill, and under Insert picture from, click an option. In the Format Background pane, slide the Transparency bar to the right to set the transparency percentage.
