we have other options like same idoc can be used and we can update the segment data for example there is an idoc was created and there is a data is missing so the write-up is failed so in that case without generating a new idoc then the same idoc the respect to data can be filled and we can reprocess to complete the process successfully lets check that option also i will take one failure i dock we05 inbound will take 51 status okay here it is failed what are the error messages the error message is update control of moment type is incorrect this has error is due to missing of moment type indicator b okay so what we do now now click on this button okay we can see here and now the go to data records in this data record the exact error message is because of the segment in this segment the moment type indicator is missing so now click on this the book kind of icon double click on that click on the book icon only so now system will show you these are the data now go to data record and click

A message type represents the application message exchanged between R/3 systems and R/3 and an external system. A message type characterises the data sent across systems and relates to the structure of the data called an IDOC type. An IDoc type specifies the structure of the data.
Types of IDocs IDocs can be triggered in the SAP system or in the EDI subsystem. An IDoc coming into an SAP system is called an Inbound IDoc, while an IDoc going out of a system is called an Outbound IDoc. An Outbound IDoc is triggered through document message control to the EDI subsystem.
Basic Type: Basic IDoc type defines the structure and format of the business document that is to be exchanged between two systems. Segments: Segments form the basic building blocks of an IDoc type and are used to store the actual datta. A segment type is the name of a segment and is independent of the SAP elease.
The IDoc basic type can manifest itself in multiple logical message types. An ORDERS05 basic type is the foundation for an order (ORDERS), an order change (ORDCHG), an order response (ORDRSP), a quote request (REQOTE) etc.
Message Type: For which purpose the IDOC is going to fire. IDOC Type: It contains exact structure, in which sequence data transfered from. one system to another system. Through Message Type a whole bunch of data transfered to process code/port for transferring data. IDOC type/Basic Type contains exact data.
IDocs are created when message types and object methods are distributed. The message type is the format in which the data for a business process is transferred. The procedures for configuring IDocs for the integration between SAP and Maximo include the following tasks: Maintaining the customer distribution model.
