- Wes, I have to ask you what every viewer is thinking like myself and wants to know, what is the raw meat and what do these (laughs) raw organs taste like. I, I would think that that could be a little bit challenging. - Yeah. It took me a long time to get used to organs. That was a big one, especially raw liver. Raw liver took me probably months. I was gagging on it for months. Brain was another tough one. That was the one that I, my body wanted to kind of reject right away just from the texture and stuff. Raw eggs actually surprisingly took me a while too, but the organs, really hard to describe, just really gotta try it for yourself, but I think really good raw pastured chicken, like local, naturally raised pasture chicken, itamp;#39;s really similar to like sushi-rate fish. Itamp;#39;s pretty good stuff. - As doctors, Dr. Melina and I, you know, weamp;#39;re concerned eating raw things, especially raw chicken, raw eggs, weamp;#39;re concerned about the health factor, about gett

A RAW file is the uncompressed and unprocessed image data captured by a digital camera or scanners sensors. Shooting in RAW captures a high level of image detail, with large file sizes and lossless quality.
If you wish to make a quick edit or directly use the image for social media, go with JPEGs. If you wish to edit the same image seriously, use the RAW file. I hope next time you import an image to Lightroom, these experiments will encourage you to shoot and edit in RAW format.
One of the largest benefits of RAW is the ability to recover shadows and highlights in post-processing without bringing in the grainy noise usually associated with high ISO settings. RAWs are very forgiving if you have severely underexposed or overexposed areas.
Post-processing Higher image quality translates into more available data when it comes to photo editing, giving RAWs a definitive edge over JPEGs.
Many professional photographers shoot in RAW because the format captures the highest level of detail. It can often be easier to edit exposure later with a RAW file. However, shooting in JPEG has its benefits, since their smaller file sizes allow you to shoot more images at once and transfer files faster.
As you might expect, the tradeoff for these detailed files is that RAW files are quite a bit larger than JPEG files. Still, most professional photographers shoot in RAW because it gives them more information to work with in the post-processing phase.
RAW is a file format that captures all the data from your camera sensor without any compression or processing, unlike JPEG, which is a compressed and processed format that discards some data.
