How to reference another sheet in Excel. To reference a cell or range of cells in another worksheet in the same workbook, put the worksheet name followed by an exclamation mark (!) before the cell address. For example, to refer to cell A1 in Sheet2, you type Sheet2!A1.
Simply hold down the Ctrl key and press either the Page Up or Page Down key to move to the previous or next sheet, respectively. You can also use the Ctrl + Arrow keys to move between sheets. Another great shortcut for quickly changing sheets in Excel is Ctrl + Tab.

Here is a quick tip that can save you a lot of time. To edit the same cell in multiple sheets, simply hold down the Ctrl key while you click on the sheets you want to edit. Then, when you make your changes, they will be applied to all of the selected sheets.
Hold down the Ctrl key and click each sheet tab that you want to edit, or hold Shift and click the last tab to edit to select all tabs in the middle. Once you hit Enter or navigate to any other tab, you will see that what you did was copied to all selected worksheets. This also works for formatting.
Compare two versions of a workbook by using Spreadsheet Compare Open Spreadsheet Compare. In the lower-left pane, choose the options you want included in the workbook comparison, such as formulas, cell formatting, or macros. On the Home tab, choose Compare Files.
To pull data from another sheet by using cell references in Excel: Click in the cell where you want the pulled data to appear. Type = (equals sign) followed by the name of the sheet you want to pull data from. Type ! Press Enter. The value from your other sheet will now appear in the cell.
