Love asks. Are affidavits from family members important? If yes, can I get affidavit letters from my family members? Are they important? To be frank, I dont think USCIS officers really give any points or importance to affidavits from family or friends about your relationship. I still submit it in cases, especially if you dont have much other evidence, but you can always get it and bring it to the interview. If you havent submitted already, I have a sample format for it in the Ultimate Marriage Green Card Guide and the addendum which you can download at marriageimmigrationlaw.com But what I find is when people write these affidavits, they dont write it properly so it makes it hard to read or it doesnt have the information thats necessary on there, so it makes it worthless.
