hi my name is jenny beyer iamp;#39;m the maryland access point coordinator here at st maryamp;#39;s county department of aging and human services and iamp;#39;m here to tell you a little bit about what the map site has to offer the maryland access point is the aging and disability resource center here in st maryamp;#39;s county we encourage individuals 50 and over adults experiencing a disability caregivers or anybody who has any sort of concern for a family member or friend to give us a call when somebody calls the map site we start with a conversation about the individual who youamp;#39;re calling about whether thatamp;#39;s a spouse a friend a loved one and we go over the different services that that individual might be eligible for as well as programs and supports for the individual calling we work with many community support agencies we also work with agencies such as the department of social services and the health department to help provide the appropriate supports
