Final Draft To change an elements side-to-side margins, go to Format Elements (Mac) or Format Element Settings (Windows). Click the Paragraph tab, click the element whose margins you want to alter and then click the up or down arrow next to the Left or Right margin under INDENTS.
How do I print out specific pages? On Windows, go to File Print, check the Page radio button and type in the range of pages (i.e. 1-6, 8) that you want to print. You can also select particular pages instead of a range (i.e. 2,7,9). On Mac, go to File Print and choose Final Draft from the center dropdown menu.
The margins of a screenplay are larger than when writing in prose or other formats. The top and bottom margins of a screenplay should both be set to one inch (1 in.), and the left margin should be set to one-and-a-half inches (1.5 in.). The right margin is the only one that offers a slight degree of flexibility.
Page Margins The top margin needs to be one inch. The bottom margin, and your right- or outside margin can vary from that by up to a quarter-inch. The left, or inside, margin needs to allow space for the three-hole punch binding for when your screenplay is printed, so that should be about one-and-a-half inches.
