in this demonstration youre going to learn how to use the very symbology by attribute button on the symbology tab all right so for this uh particular demonstration ive already selected the partial layer you noticed youll notice that weve already created a graduated color rendering on that layer based on market value field but there may be certain situations where you want to enhance a certain symbology in a layer as opposed to and kind of decrease the visibility of other symbols and so you can use the very symbology by attribute button on the symbology pane to do this and uh specifically were looking here at uh setting a different transparency so if you select the transparency drop down and then select a field in this case of course well select market value because again thats the data that were dealing with in this case and so what i want to do in this case is i want to set a variable transparency range based on the data and in this case what i want to do is to enhance the vis
