And youve clicked to look at the interior and it wont let you click approve. And you see the dreaded red warning triangle and this red error there. And when you hover your mouse over the interior of the book, it does come up with this pop-up text, which gives you an idea of what the problem might be. And also under where it says error. The margin property sets or returns the margins of an element. This property can take from one to four values: One value, like: div {margin: 50px} - all four margins will be 50px. Two values, like: div {margin: 50px 10px} - the top and bottom margins will be 50px, left and right margins will be 10px.
margin:0 auto; 0 is for top-bottom and auto for left-right. It means that left and right margin will take auto margin ing to the width of the element and the width of the container. Generally if you want to put any element at center position then margin:auto works perfectly.
Margin is just the space outside the border. This is important for how you want your element to appear when other elements are nearby. If margin is zero, other elements (inline, above and below) will be be flush against your element.
The auto Value You can set the margin property to auto to horizontally center the element within its container. The element will then take up the specified width, and the remaining space will be split equally between the left and right margins.

You can define the width for CSS margin in either length units (e.g., pixels) or percentages (in relation with the container block). The default value is 0 0 0 0 , which represents no CSS margin. Tip: you can also use the keyword auto , in which case the browser will select the margin for the HTML element.
Margin is the space around an element outside its border. The margin of an element can be on all sides, such as: left, right, top, and bottom. Use the marginLeft property in JavaScript to set the left margin.
margin: 0; padding: 0; } What this code does is to run over, like an elephant, every default style on the page. This can be useful as sometimes different browsers have different default stylings for different elements.
If there is one thing all browsers calculate identically, then its the value of 0. Every browser understands the meaning of zero. The unit makes no difference. Whether you use 0 or 0px, or 0em is left up to you, though its cleaner just using 0 and it saves you a few bites.
The margin-bottom specifies the bottom margin of an element. The margin-top specifies the top margin of an element. The margin-left specifies the left margin of an element. The margin-right specifies the right margin of an element.
