Unmesh Dinda 0:00 Let me share with you an interesting fact. In most cases, when you export an image, the colors do not change. I can actually show that to you. Have a look at this document. We have done very simple color grading. So, this is the original one, just a little bit of curves, Color Lookup tables, Blend Modes, so on and so forth. Right. Letamp;#39;s just go ahead and export it by going to File and then Export and inside of Export - Export As, inside of that, Iamp;#39;m going to leave it at JPG, have a look right there, and click on Export All and letamp;#39;s name this Export 1. All right. Now weamp;#39;re going to open this up back in Photoshop. Letamp;#39;s open this JPG by going to our Finder or File Explorer and just drag it and drop it into Photoshop. All right, there we are. Now have a look at this photo. Letamp;#39;s compare both of these photos. So this is the one that we exported and this is the one that we were working with. Open Photoshop and the image you intend to work on. From the Image menu, select Adjust, Variations. In the Variations dialog box, there are four areas to consider. In the upper right are the controls.
Adjust brightness and contrast in a photo In the menu bar, select Image Adjustments Brightness/Contrast. Adjust the Brightness slider to change the overall brightness of the image. Adjust the Contrast slider to increase or decrease image contrast. Click OK. The adjustments will appear only on the selected layer.
You can also choose Image Auto Contrast to apply the adjustment directly to the image layer. Keep in mind that this method discards image information and its application is automatic.
When you need to adjust the contrast in your photo the best tool for the job is levels. In all flavors of Photoshop you can open the levels window by using the keyboard shortcut ctrl+L in windows or cmd L on a Mac.
Using the Contrast/Brightness Adjustment Layer Go to Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Brightness/Contrast (alternatively, you can open the Adjustments panel and click on the Brightness/Contrast icon). Drag the slider that controls Contrast to the right to increase the images contrast.
