On the Scope tab, the Configuration section allows you to modify the scope. The Legend button turns the legend on or off. When you show the legend, you can control which signals are shown. If you click a signal name in the legend, the signal is hidden from the plot and shown in grey on the legend.
Annotations are text labels, symbols, or markers that provide additional information or context for the map elements. Legends are graphical explanations of the colors, shapes, or sizes used to represent data on the map.
You can change different aspects of a legend by setting properties. You can set properties by specifying name-value arguments when you call legend , or you can set properties of the Legend object after you call legend .
To move the legend outside the plot, well use the bboxtoanchor and loc parameters of the legend function. The bboxtoanchor parameter specifies the legends position. The tuple (1.05, 1) positions the legend just outside the plots right edge. The loc parameter determines where the legends anchor point should be.
Starting in R2022a, you can use the fontsize function to change the font size within a figure or for a particular object, such as a legend. You can set the font size to a specific number, or you can incrementally increase/decrease the size of all the text for the object while maintaining relative size differences.
