Open, Edit and Save XML We will use XSL to transform the XML document into an HTML form. The values of the XML elements will be written to HTML input fields in an HTML form. The HTML form is editable.
What is index type for XML index entries? Explanation: XML index entries appear in the catalog view, sys. indexes, with the index type 3.
XML INDEX node represents an XML index, which contains the composite key values and maps the XML values to the DOCID and NODEID pairs.
Click Find Replace Text to replace text in the XML Editor. Find what -- Enter a search string or click the down arrow next to the input box to select from a list of previously entered search strings. Click the [] button to insert newlines (\n) and tabs (\t) into the search string.
The primary XML index is a shredded and persisted representation of the XML BLOBs in the xml data type column. For each XML binary large object (BLOB) in the column, the index creates several rows of data. The number of rows in the index is approximately equal to the number of nodes in the XML binary large object.
modify() Method (xml Data Type) Use this method to modify the content of an xml type variable or column. This method takes an XML DML statement to insert, update, or delete nodes from XML data. The modify() method of the xml data type can only be used in the SET clause of an UPDATE statement.
In order to assign an attribute value that contains entity references, the user must create an XmlAttribute node plus any XmlText and XmlEntityReference nodes, build the appropriate subtree and use SetAttributeNode to assign it as the value of an attribute.
The way to change the value of an attribute, is to change its text value. This can be done using the setAttribute() method or setting the nodeValue property of the attribute node.
