The Apple MacBook Pro 14 (2021) is better than the Apple MacBook Air 13 (2022). The MacBook Pro 14 has a brighter Mini LED display with a higher refresh rate, a wider port selection, a better webcam, and better-sounding speakers.
Heres how: Click the Apple menu, then choose System Preferences or System Settings. In System Preferences, click Displays. If your MacBook or monitor supports multiple refresh rates, youll see a Refresh rate dropdown menu.
For example, if the content youre viewing is 24 frames per second, select the 48 Hertz refresh rate. Choose Apple menu  System Settings (Or System Preferences), then click Displays. Click the Refresh Rate pop-up menu and choose a refresh rate.
0:03 0:43 And click system settings. On the window that appears on the left side I scroll down to findMoreAnd click system settings. On the window that appears on the left side I scroll down to find displays click on it. Now on right side open the refresh rate drop down menu.
For macOS Users Choose Apple menu System Settings or System Preferences. Select System Preferences and click Displays. Hold down the Option key and click on the scaled radio button to check which refresh rates are available.
The specs arent exactly the same, as the M3 base model of the Pro comes with the 10-core GPU and 512GB SSD that are step-up options for the Air, but otherwise, the two are similar: with 8GB of RAM and the same M3 CPU. Increases in memory and storage are also the same, with a max memory of 24GB and top storage of 2TB.
The MacBook Airs Apple M3 chip is definitely fast enough for me. This is going to be one of those situations where your mileage varies greatly. In short, those with modest computing power needs will be happy with the MacBook Air, as its M3 chips speed through low-impact tasks.
To change the refresh rate Select Start Settings System Display Advanced display . Next to Choose a refresh rate, select the rate you want. The refresh rates that appear depend on your display and what it supports. Select laptops and external displays will support higher refresh rates.
