Syntax: DAYS(t1; t2) The minus sign appears in the result because OpenOffice.org Calc always subtracts t2 from t1 (t1 t2). Remember that you can remove the minus sign with the ABS function, but you need to watch out for errors that such shortcuts may introduce to your calculations: =ABS(DAYS(12/15/2010;
Right click on the date field you want formatted and select the Control menu. From that, select the General tab, then scroll down to Date Format and select the elipses button. Here you can modify the formatting of the date for the Form.

Re: Increment DATE() Put a date in the first cell and drag down the cell handle. Put a date formula like =TOODAY()+ROW(A1)-1 into the first cell and drag down the cell handle.
Click on the fill handle (small black blob in the lower right corner of the black border) and drag that down. Release the mouse when you have enough cells filled. Each cell will advance one day.
You select the cells to format, then you press Ctrl-1 (or choose Format - Cells from the menu, or any other way) to open the dialog to format cells. There is a text field Format code where you enter DD/MM/YYYY without the quotation marks. Click OK.
Using a fill series To add a fill series to a spreadsheet, select the cells to fill, choose Edit Fill Series. In the Fill Series dialog, select AutoFill as the Series type, and enter as the Start value an item from any defined series.
