Right-click the chart, and then choose Select Data. The Select Data Source dialog box appears on the worksheet that contains the source data for the chart. Leaving the dialog box open, click in the worksheet, and then click and drag to select all the data you want to use for the chart, including the new data series.
Heres how you can transpose cell content: Copy the cell range. Select the empty cells where you want to paste the transposed data. On the Home tab, select the Paste icon, and select Paste Transpose.
Change the source workbook To open the Workbook Links pane, select Data Queries and Connections Workbook Links. Select Link options () next to the required workbook and then select Change source.
On the Analyze tab, in the Data group, click Change Data Source, and then click Change Data Source.
You can also change the order of data in the chart without changing the order of the source data. Select the chart. Click the Design tab. Click the Select Data button. From the Select Data Source dialog box, select the data series you want to move. Click the Move Up or Move down button. Click OK.
Right-click the item you want to change and input the data--or type a new heading--and press Enter to display it in the chart. To hide a category in the chart, right-click the chart and choose Select Data. Deselect the item in the list and select OK.
Right-click your chart, and then choose Select Data. In the Legend Entries (Series) box, click the series you want to change. Click Edit, make your changes, and click OK.
On the Layout tab, in the Labels group, click Data Labels, and then click the option that you want. For additional data label options, click More Data Label Options, click Label Options if its not selected, and then select the options that you want.
