A sheet name code is a friendly and meaningful name that you can assign to the sheets in your workbook. This is especially useful if you have more than one worksheet because the names can be different. Creating a sheet name in excel is very important to keep track of your data.
Here are the steps to do this: Go to the Developer tab. Click on the Visual Basic option. In the Project Explorer pane in the VB Editor, right-click on any object for the workbook in which you want to insert the code. Go to Insert and click on Module. Copy and paste the code in the module window.
You can change the code name and worksheet name of any worksheet in the Properties Window (F4 in the VBA Editor). You can change the names to be more meaningful than Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3.
On the Developer tab, in the Code group, click Macros. In the Macro name box, click the macro that you want to edit. Click Edit. The Visual Basic Editor appears.
